Across Minnesota, immigrant families impacted by ICE's presence are struggling to afford groceries, rent, and other basic essentials. These families need urgent financial support. We're working to raise $10,000 in direct support for our communities - and that's where you come in!
Midis for Minnesota is an upcoming pack of 13 midi crosswords created by Minnesotan constructors in support of neighbors impacted by ICE in Minnesota. The constructor team has collectively had hundreds of crosswords published by various newspapers and indie outlets. To access the puzzles, you'll donate to a mutual aid organization and submit proof of your donation to us. Then, we'll send you the puzzles.

How to Access the Pack
Make a donation of any amount to one of the places listed below or any organization providing direct support to people impacted by ICE's presence.
Submit a screenshot with proof of your donation to this form (Google sign-in required) or send it to midisforminnesota@gmail.com or midisforminnesota@protonmail.com with "donation" in the subject line.
Expect the puzzles in your inbox when they are released in late April.
Mutual Aid Organizations
These organizations provide food delivery and financial support directly to community members, transferring funds quickly and with dignity. Give generously if you are able - think about what you would give to support a friend facing eviction or unable to feed their family. As you solve these midis, you'll know that your support is helping keep families safe, housed and fed.
Golden Valley Mutual Aid Collective provides weekly deliveries of food and other essentials, as well as direct rent support to community members in Golden Valley, New Hope, Crystal, and Robbinsdale.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a single, streamlined destination for donors who want to reach the many organizations and coalitions providing food delivery and rent assistance in the wake of Operation Metro Surge.
Northside Blessings is a grassroots, community-led mutual aid organization in Minnesota helping families with food, hygiene, diapers, and essential needs. Since 2020, they've relied on everyday people coming together to support families during difficult times.
Powderhorn Rent Relief is providing immediate rent and utilities support to families and households in the unique South Minneapolis neighborhood of Powderhorn Park.Â
Roseville Mutual Aid is providing support to residents of Roseville and the Roseville school districts who are facing housing insecurity.
West 7th-Highland Park Mutual Aid is providing rent relief for St. Paul Families in West 7th, Highland Park and nearby schools.
